Chromebook Insurance for SMUSD Students
Cost of optional insurance:

• August 15, 2022 - August 14, 2023
• Full Coverage $20
• Full Coverage Plus Charger = $25

If students do not have the insurance, the district could charge fines for the damages up to the replacement cost. Some common fines for damages are:

• Broken Screens = $43
• Broken Keyboards = $43
• Broken Camera = $20
• Full device replacement = $300
